If you are looking for coworking in Valencia for a day of video calls, first check where you can talk and for how long. An available desk and an available room are two different things. Headphones let you listen without a loudspeaker, but do not stop other people hearing your voice.
Start with your diary, then choose a pass
List your call times in Valencia local time, their approximate length and whether you need a separate space. There is no need to share client names or meeting details. A quick conversation, back-to-back meetings and a confidential interview each call for a different setup.
For instance, a ten-minute mid-morning call might fit a shared space’s rules, if the team confirms this. Four back-to-back hour-long meetings mean checking that a suitable space is available for the entire time. These are hypothetical examples, not Flama Hub’s access conditions.
Desk, booth or meeting room: check what you can use
Every coworking space handles calls differently. In its FAQs, Vortex distinguishes short calls from long or frequent ones; Mosaico mentions bookable rooms for longer conversations. These examples help you know what to ask, but they do not describe the facilities or policies at Flama Hub.
- Can I talk at my desk? What rules apply to call length and speaking volume?
- Is a separate space available on the date and at the time I need?
- Do I need a separate booking? What does it cost, how long can I use it and what are the cancellation terms?
- What is the alternative if my meeting runs over or the space is already occupied?
If you need confidentiality, ask about sound and visual privacy in the specific space. A closed door does not prove soundproofing. Avoid committing to a sensitive meeting until you know whether the space meets your needs.
Try your setup during a visit
With the team’s permission, try a short call using your own laptop and usual app. Check the microphone, camera, framing and access to a power socket. Keep other coworkers and their screens out of shot. A quick test can reveal problems, but cannot guarantee the quality of every future call.
What to check with Flama Hub
You will find us at Calle Doctor Sanchis Bergón, 5, in the Botànic area, near El Carmen. Public opening hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–19:00. We are closed to the public on public holidays; any exceptional access must be agreed personally with each coworker in advance.
Day and hourly passes do not include the meeting room or printing. For other plans, check the room’s conditions of use and availability at the time you need it. Before paying for a desk on a day with meetings, ask where you could take them: booking a desk does not automatically book a room.
Tell us what you need for your visit
You can use this template when enquiring: “I need a desk for [date]. I have [number] video calls lasting around [minutes], between [time] and [time], Valencia local time. I need [a separate space or specific conditions]. I am considering [plan]. Could you confirm what is available and the total cost including VAT?”
These details help us check whether the space fits your day before you make plans. Keep an alternative for your meeting until the space you need has been confirmed.
